The Hearing Aid Sweat Band™
- an Introduction

The Hearing Aid Sweat Band™ will protect a behind the ear hearing aid from shorting out from moisture or perspiration. It is a soft fabric sleeve that eliminates the sudden loss of hearing due to moisture from perspiration, rain and snow or while participating in perspiration-producing sports and activities such as hiking, snowmobiling, skiing, sailing or yard work. The Hearing Aid Sweat Band™ should be worn during any and all activities -- including at the workplace. Whistling caused by feedback from wind is substantially reduced, as is the infiltration of damaging dirt and grime in dusty environments.

The sleeve easily slips over the BTE hearing aid without the need of an application tool. The BTE wearer is able to easily operate the controls with the Hearing Aid Sweat Band™ in place. Made from a specially designed fabric, it sheds off water or moisture from rain and perspiration -- not holding or trapping moisture against the hearing aid, which is a primary cause of shorting out and damage to inner controls. The Hearing Aid Sweat Band™ has the ability to absorb a large amount of moisture enabling the wearer to leave their hearing aid in place during high perspiration sports activities or a visit to the hair salon - protecting your behind the ear hearing aid from hair spray and other styling products, as well as dusty or industrial environments.

When determining the best size Hearing Aid Sweat Band™ for your behind the ear hearing aid, the idea is to measure the length of the hearing aid and select the Hearing Aid Sweat Band™ size long enough to come up and over the microphone area.

The Hearing Aid Sweat Band™' is disposable and inexpensive. What does that really mean? Well, first of all it is an inexpensive accessory to protect your hearing aid from frequent repairs due to moisture penetrating the hearing aid. It also protects the investment you have made in purchasing your hearing aid. As far as disposable, it can be hand washed in mild detergent and air dried several times before it will lose it's effectiveness and need to be replaced with a new Hearing Aid Sweat Band™. They are conveniently packaged with two Hearing Aid Sweat Bands™ per pack.

"Slim Series" Hearing Aid Sweat Bands™

VanB Enterprises is pleased to introduce the "Slim Series" Hearing Aid Sweat Band™. The "Slim Series" is designed to protect the new, smaller, more slender Behind the Ear Hearing Aids from loss of hearing due to moisture from perspiration, rain or snow. It will also prevent infiltration of dust and grime from dusty enrironments, as well as stop feedback from wind.

The Hearing Aid Sweat Band™ will prevent internal corrosion of your hearing aid, will extend battery life and reduce the need for repairs of your hearing aid.

The "Slim Series" is available in Mini, Small and Medium in our three most popular colors: Natural, Light Brown and Gray. The length of the "Slim Series" is the same as it's corresponding standard size, but narrower in diameter.

The "Slim Series" was designed at the specific request of a customer who found that our standard size Hearing Aid Sweat Band™ was a bit too loose for his hearing aid. We at VanB Enterprises try to keep pace with the changing needs of the hearing aid industry.

5XL (Designed for FM Systems)

In the recent past, at the specific request of a customer, we intorudced the 5XL into our line. The 5XL measures 3" in length (standard width) and comes in the six colors offered: White, Natural, Light Brown, Medium Brown, Black and Gray.
