"A little history behind the product is in order. The gentleman who invented The Hearing Aid Sweat Band™ is a long time patient of ours who had always had terrible moisture problems with his hearing aids causing constant breakdown. Through trial and error, he came up with this solution. He came into our office one day and asked for a glass of water because he wanted to "show us something." He took off his hearing aid with The Hearing Aid Sweat Band™ on it and put it in the glass of water (the microphone was covered by the sock, but was not totally submerged). He submerged the hearing aid for several seconds. We were so shocked that we just stood and watched. He took the aid with the sock on back out of the water and put it on his ear so he could communicate with us. "I am a maintenance electrician employed by an Oil Refinery located in south west Louisiana. My job requires working in a hostile environment most of the time.
