Sizing Information
When determining the best size Hearing Aid Sweat Band™ for your behind the ear hearing aid, the idea is to measure the length from end to end across the hearing aid body and select the Hearing Aid Sweat Band™ size long enough to come up and over the microphone area where the ear tube enters.
Standard Girth Series
Mini - for hearing instruments up to 1"
Small - for hearing instruments up to 1 1/4"
Medium - for hearing instruments up to 1 1/2"
Large - for hearing instruments up to 1 3/4"
X-Large - for hearing instruments up to 2 1/8"
5XL - for longer FM instruments up to 3"
Slim Girth Series (for mini units)
(The “Slim Series” is designed to protect
the smaller, more slender mini-style BTE.)
Mini Slim - for hearing instruments up to 1"
Small Slim - for hearing instruments up to 1 1/4"
Medium Slim - for hearing instruments up to 1 1/2"
I am a maintenance electrician employed by an Oil Refinery located in south west Louisiana. My job requires working in a hostile environment most of the time. For the most part, it is the summers that present the greatest problem for me because of my having to wear a Behind The Ear device that enables me to hear. A hearing problem required me to have a Cochlear Implant in which the microphone is worn behind the ear, like a behind the ear hearing aid, with wires attached to it at the bottom.
